  100 Days to go for 2024 - How are you doing?  You started the year with  your New Year Resolutions.  Most don't survive 100 days. Those which survive that period, and if you are still working on them,  would have some level of completion.  Somewhere, you also had your corporate goals or business goals.  You did not have a choice to drop them  so you are still working on them and have some level of achievement as well as target. Then of course you have your  own dreams and desires related  to your personal life and your family.  Hope you have been achieving them too.  And while you were chasing the  above resolutions, goals & dreams;  You had some personal development also planned - new learnings/trainings  that will have a positive impact on your  overall personal as well as professional life.  Whatever were your goals,  this '100 days remaining' mark is a good time to assess progress and tak...

  A Wake-up Call  Just Imagine .. all those people who are joining E&Y these days and in the coming months.  They tell their friends/relatives they are joining E&Y  and the response is "Oh. (long pause). THAT E&Y?"  People feel awkward and forget to congratulate.  They put a post on LinkedIn announcing their joining  and people don't know whether to congratulate  or warn them or offer their condolence.  What happened was bad.  Some shaken, some awakened.  How E&Y responded to it also  hasn't gone down well either. E&Y will need to do a lot more .. visibly,  to salvage the situation & uphold it's reputation.  AND this is an opportunity for  - the other 3 of the Big4 to take stock.  - all the major IT companies in India to take stock.  - all the major Accounting and Law Firms to take stock.  As a matter of fact, this is an opportunity  for ALL Organizations to take stock....

  Good advice for building Wealth and Financial Freedom. Just one difference of opinion though. DON'T SACRIFICE FUN  ... Optimize it.  In my coaching experience, over the years,  I have found that many people sacrifice FUN  to a significant level, leading somewhat boring lives, while  having a good amount of money invested or in bank / invested.  (I have myself been guilty of being the boring husband, boring dad)  Not an ideal situation.  Not even a situation you want for yourself. You are forgetting what you are actually earning for.  If the above visual had to be a warning,  I would rewrite it and change that to  "Don't go overboard with FUN" 🤓 That's the other extreme.  Many people driven by FOMO and YOLO,  want to have all the fun of their life early on  and are constantly exhausting their earnings  and savings for entertainment and 'experiences'  that they can flaunt to friends or on social media....

  Don't let 'escape from 9to5' be the reason for your entrepreneurial dreams.  This message is for all 'employees'  who want to become Entrepreneurs  Employees give their 9to6  or 9to9 for 5 to 6 days a week.  Entrepreneurs give 24X7. Period.  They even dream about their business  Employees sometimes have a 'bad boss'  Entrepreneurs are the BOSS .. good, bad, ugly  they can be whatever .. but they are The BOSS.  (And bosses are invariably subject of hate) Employees blame their Managers for their situation  (increments, work-life balance, appraisals, etc)  Entrepreneurs have no one else to blame.  They are the ultimate decision-makers  for themselves and for others too.  These days, you see a disproportionate amount  of 9to5 Job Bashing and over- glorification of the Entrepreneur.  The grass seems not only green  but neon green on the other side.  BUT the reality is far from expectations....
