Hey Google, Find my Spectacles

Image
"Hey Google, Find my spectacles and the Book I was reading last night. And yes, my keys too" For years, being forgetful, I always wished there was a Google search option for my keys, books, and random things that I kept somewhere and then forgot.  How about "Hey Siri, remind me which store en route to the office yesterday had that red and yellow Deadpool-Wolverine T-shirt in its window showcase."   Wouldn't it be great if an app was able to answer that question?  We are in the era, when THAT is actually possible. Hopefully soon, the 'feature' will be available and free to use by all.  BUT …  For the AI to be able to find your things for you in your life, you will need to give it 'access' to your life.  A complete unhindered 24X7 access to your life. Bye Bye Privacy.   You will either need to wear a device or the mobile becomes the device which has AUDIO and VIDEO Input switched ON all the time.  Whatever you see and don't see...

You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

“You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.”  ~ Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) to Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) in the iconic movie 'The Dark Knight'  Robert Downy Jr (Iron Man),  the biggest and most important Hero  from the MCU is now returning to the MCU  as Dr. Doom, the biggest villain for the new Avengers.  And at the Dr. Doom reveal at ComicCon RDJ simply said … "New Mask, Same Task"  That is so deep in many different ways :)  Life Comes a Full Circle :)  On a serious note; In your personal life or at work;   Have you had any experience of a Hero turning into a villain?  Have you been the good person all along who changed at some point, even temporarily?  What was your takeaway from those experiences? Do share.  #CoachHemant #LeadershipDevelopment #HeroVillain

What you don't know is how much you know without knowing you know it

We often underestimate our own capabilities, blinded by self-doubt and routine life and work.  Yet, the knowledge and expertise that we gather subconsciously through reading, discussions, events, and constant exposure to leaders, experts & intellectuals is very powerful and potent  Every conversation, challenge and new experience enriches us in ways we might not immediately realize.  We are constantly absorbing information and our brain is constantly trying to make sense of every input it receives.  It is storing new knowledge/information, making connections with past knowledge, drawing insights & inferences and creating new thoughts every second.  It’s only when we are tested that these hidden strengths come to light, revealing the vast potential trapped within us. Embrace opportunities,  seek out diverse experiences,  Trust in the depth of your abilities.  You know much more than you think. 🌟 For instance, you have participated i...

Mistakes Scare Us

Image
Mistakes scare us.  We fear making Mistakes Most people take the Ostrich  approach to their own mistakes.  They put their head in the sand and  simply assume that no one can see them  But it starts within.  Starts with a Denial.   We don't even want to  actively think about them  - before they even happen,  - while they are happening,  - after they have happened.  Go through your Mistakes Grow through your Mistakes  Mistakes are just that .. mistakes.  They are nothing more, nothing less.  Mistakes are simply natural part of us  Mistakes are great learning opportunities  Mistakes are a chance to pause and reflect  Mistakes are an excuse to laugh at ourselves  We got to normalize the concept of mistakes.  Treat them as an integral part of our journey.  We are told that they are very much a part of  the Learning Curve of our life and career growth.  In fact, they are cru...

The importance of halftime in Sports (and in Life)

Image
In several team sports,  game is played in two halves.  Half-time is the name given to the  interval between the two halves of the game. During the half time, the individual sportsperson or the entire team (with the guidance of the coach)  make necessary adjustments, such as formation changes,  style of play changes, strategy change and player substitution.  Halftime also gives athletes a chance  to refuel, hydrate and tend to any aches  or injuries they experienced in the first half It's time to evaluate your First half.  Goals Achieved and Goals that slipped.  Habits you acquired - good as well as bad. Time that you Lost to unproductive activities. The half time is a wake-up call as time runs out.  Look at your Goal Sheet and Resolutions list  that you put together diligently and signed in January.  How are you doing on all those things you promised yourself?   Have you stopped chasing some of those goal...
