Movies I have seen in March ...

So heres the run-down of my March viewing ....

Its Complicated

An english movie that explores the 'complicated' relationship between a divorced couple. How they are still attracted towards each other and get back together a couple of times to make out and things bcome complicated and embarassing at the same time. The relationships are complicated and the acting superb. Steve Martin appears in a role which is very unlike him. I have always seen him in laugh riots and this was 'different' (No. he is not the husband. He is the OTHER guy)

Atithi - Tum Kab Jaaoge ?

A light comedy. An entertaining watch. Devgun, Konkana and Paresh Rawal ... all in their best elements. 2 songs in the movie and both become memorable if you watch them in the movie. A bhajan on the tunes of 'beedi jalaile' (hilarious) and a remixed version of an oldie "suhani raat dhal chuki, ... na jaane tum kab aaoge" ... amazing rendering of this one. Paisa Vasool

Road, Movie

I was banking on Deol when i decided to see this movie. He has always picked up off-beat roles and the movies have always been 'interesting'. This movie was interesting but it simply dragged on and turned out to be a bore. What was i thinking when I decided on this one ? (Maybe there were no better options at that time)

Alice in Wonderland

Aaah !!! Yet another Johnny Depp movie. Like Abhay Deol, i went to see this movie only for the Depp factor. I would usually watch a Depp movie without reading the reviews :) Watching the wonderland in 3D was interesting ... Won't comment on the movie per se since there i was neither bored nor delighted by it. Watching the Mad Hatter Depp was a delight though

So that was March ...

April has begun and so has my movie watching ... but you gotta wait till the end of the month to read about it :P

    It is an old joke that the difference in the first class and second class of the Mumbai local trains is that people in first class use deodorants and hence you are exempted from the smelly underarms while travelling. The mute point being; both class of travel experience a passenger overload during the peak hours and you are almost equally squeezed and pushed around in both.
